Emil August Fieldorf


Emil August Fieldorf Nil was a Polish Brigadier General. He was Deputy CommanderinChief of the Home Army or AK, after the failure of the Warsaw Uprising . Fieldorf was executed in 1953 by the N.K.W.D.The Peoples Commissariat for Internal Affairs a law enforcement agency of the Soviet Union.

General Fieldorfs ancestors were partially of German origin. He was born on March 20, 1895 in Krakw. There he finished mens college of St. Nicholas and later a seminary. In 1910 he joined the Polish proindependence paramilitary organization Riflemens Association, becoming a full member in 1912. He also finished the school for noncommissioned officers.
